The Jauchs and the Staff at Jauch’s Löwen
The Hotel Restaurant Jauch’s Löwen in Neuershausen is a family-run hotel like the ones back in the good old days. Our guests can feel the personal atmosphere in every detail. In addition, we run the kitchen and the hotel with a genuine warmth that you will only find in a family-run business.
In 2015 our kitchen was awarded the “Bib Gourmand” by Michelin. We are very proud of our excellent team and its great work.

THE SENIORS
Anneliese and Julius Jauch
Anneliese and Julius Jauch inherited the hotel and restaurant from the last generation in 1979 and are leading it with lots of dedication – a tradition that has existed since 1805.
THE JUNIORS
Christine and Oliver Jauch with Luis and Lea
Oliver joined his parents’ business in 2015, after working in several gourmet restaurants in Germany and Switzerland.
His wife Christine is still working at her job for the government and looks after the two children, Luis and Lea.
She helps out at the restaurant on weekends and supports her husband and the entire team at the Löwen.

You can reach both the center of Freiburg or the Kaiserstuhl within as little as a quarter of an hour. Go for a stroll through town and the historic city center or visit the Kaiserstuhl for a hike with a guide.
Our location where three countries meet offers wonderful day trip destinations into the Markgräferland, to Switzerland or to Alsace.
